1、 Material selection
1. Nylon cage
Advantages: Light weight, low noise, good self-lubricating performance, suitable for electrical products with high noise requirements, and can extend the life of bearings
※ Temperature range: -40 ℃ to 120 ℃
※ Attention: During heating installation, it is necessary to control the temperature evenly to avoid deformation
2. Metal cage (steel/brass)
Steel: High strength, corrosion-resistant, suitable for heavy-duty or mineral oil lubrication environments, temperature range -200 ℃ to 300 ℃
※ Brass: Low density, high maximum speed, but needs to avoid ammonia cooling environment (which can easily cause cracking), with a temperature limit of 300 ℃
3. Special materials
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): extremely low friction coefficient (0.04), low temperature resistance (-260 ℃), suitable for vacuum or non lubricated environments
Phenolic resin/carbon fiber: high temperature resistance (up to 150 ℃), high mechanical strength, suitable for high-speed or high-temperature scenarios

※ Working environment: Phenolic resin or polyimide is preferred for high temperature environments; Choose stainless steel or non-metallic composite materials for corrosive environments
※ Load and speed: Steel or brass retainers are recommended for low-speed heavy loads; High speed light load optional nylon or PTFE
※ Installation method: If heating installation is required, ensure the temperature resistance of the material (such as nylon to avoid exceeding 120 ℃)
3、 Precautions
※ Avoid transmitting pressure through rolling elements and retainers to prevent damage
※During transportation, it is necessary to fix the bearings to avoid collisions that may affect the cage structure
